Habitat For Humanity
On November 1, Lansing members Amanda Hayhoe-Kruger, Greg Kruger (Amanda’s husband) Traci Sherman, Jane Smith and Mary Cooley gathered to work on a Habitat for Humanity project in Williamston. They worked on yard clean-up including: moving logs, picking-up brush, and digging up tree stumps while Traci and Amanda cut strips of particle board to be used to hold insulation in place under the floors . Later, Amanda, Greg, Mary and Jane worked on digging 42” holes for posts that will support a handicap ramp. Heidi helped install roof vents while Mary and Jane stained a tool shed. The team accomplished a lot in one day including some sore muscles. Many thanks to Amanda Hayhoe-Kruger for organizing this event and supplying donuts to keep the troops happy!
