The 2012 Carleen E. Hallman Scholarship is due February 28, 2012.  This is open to all undergraduate students, in a construction related program and enrolled full time in a Michigan Univeristy or Community College.

Scholarship History

Carleen Hallman was a Charter Member of NAWIC – Lansing Chapter #177, which was Chartered on February 20, 1971. Ms Hallman served as Chapter Secretary and worked at the Builders Exchange. Ms. Hallman was only 20 years old when a private plane that she was traveling on, with three friends, crashed on Mothers Day, May 14,1972. She lost her life in the crash, and her family asked to start a scholarship in her name. Since establishing the Carleen Hallman Scholarship, NAWIC Lansing

Chapter #177 has given over $40,000 to students pursuing a career in construction.
